issues qualified
digital certificates for citizens and for legal and natural
persons, registered for performing activities.
SIGOV-CA
issues qualified digital certificates for employees and servers of public administration institutions.
SI-TSA
issues trusted time stamps for applications of public administration institutions.

certificates SIGEN-CA and SIGOV-CA are intended for: |

managing
public administration data, |
 |
access
and exchange of data, managed by public administration, |
 |
secure
electronic communication between holders of qualified
digital certificates of the Certification Authority at the
Ministry of Public Administration, |
 |
any
service or application, which requires the use of digital
certificates issued by the Certificate Authority. |

| The purpose of SI-TSA time stamps: |
 |
insuring that electronic documens are digitally signed with a valid digital certificate at a specified time in such a manner that the time and the document are electronically bound by cryptographic algorithms, |
 |
providing a certified time for a transaction or an event of a system or application in other cases where it is required. |
The Certification Authority
at the Ministry of Public Administration acts in accordance
with the Electronic Commerce and Electronic Signature Act (Official
Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 57/2000 and No. 25/2004) and the Decree
on Conditions for Electronic Commerce and Electronic Signing
(Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 77/2000 and
2/2001), and other legislation in force.
